The Chargers will announce a new eight-year contract for running back LaDainian Tomlinson at a press conference at 4:00 pm Saturday prior to the Chargers-Colts game at Qualcomm Stadium.

I will do my best to get a phone line so we can stream it over the internet. If not I will record and post after the press conference.

This is truely great!!! With the league's top RB signed to a new long term contract we should have no problem trading him for next year's #1 draft pick, drafting Leinart and getting an A on Mel Kiper's draft report card! What could be better?

Hey there Titan fan, this thread is from LAST year (Aug 14, 2004) - one of our bored users up in Canada pulled it back in to have a little fun. No worries, LT is in the Chargers "fold" for a very, very long time. ;)

With that, I'm going to close this one and let it go back into hibernation - have to admit I did get a bit of a kick out of it though. :D
