Yea, I know I'm from Atlanta... but there is something wrong with having vick as our quarterback... too big of a baby.. Matt Schuab played better.... so what gives?

Vick is a great athlete, and I think people assume that because he's got a great arm, he'll be a great passer in the Falcon's new system. I'm skeptical. I think he'll revert to scrambling 5-10 times per game. Now, that makes him dangerous, because he is capable of wracking up 50+ yards per game on the ground, but it also makes him more susceptible to injury.

I think if they try to contain Vick, it is going to hamper his big-play ability. If they let him loose, he becomes very dangerous, but...

It's kind of a catch-22. I think if Vick plays 16 games, the Falcons go 9-7 this year.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing what Vick can do this year. We should have a pretty good indicator of whether he will be a bona-fide star or a bona-fide bust. If he stays healthy he's an exciting player to watch.

VICK is not for the West Coast Offense, look what happened to Jeff Garcia good as a scrambler but not a pocket passer. LET MIKE VICK play the way MIKE VICK play!!! The injury well you got to live with it but if you take his best game away toprotect his health, FALCONS are done for this year. I guess The BOLTS got the better of this trade. But then again MIKE VICK wouldn't have been hurt in a preseason game against The RAVENS. Lets see if they stick to the West Coast Offense....

Honestly, I believe Vick is done for. Yea maybe he still has 1 or 2 phenomenal games in him, but that's it. I think it's time the Falcons put someone else in. Don't get me wrong, Vick is or was a great player nonetheless, one of my favorites, but I think he's falling apart. I could be wrong, he could do super great or he could just bum it. Who knows? It would be awesome if he had a good, winning season, but I think he just doesn't have it in him anymore.

Vick had EIGHTEEN carries for 109 yards in yesterday's win over the Rams. Anyone want to wager on how long he can keep rushing like that before he's back in IR?

Vick is gonna be good enough to lead us to the playoffs and hopefully further. Schaub has never made a regular season pass so how can you say he is better.

What great arm. I haven't seen it yet. This is why I think Vick isn't a great QB. Only thing he has is a great threat to run the ball and open things up. But to put the ball on the dime when it counts remains to be seen. One day he age will catch up with him and he will faulter if he doesn't learn how to throw.

What great arm. I haven't seen it yet. This is why I think Vick isn't a great QB. Only thing he has is a great threat to run the ball and open things up. Depends on your definition of "great." I generally use it to refer to a strong arm, which Vick has. He can throw the ball 80 yards. But, that doesn't mean he's accurate or anything else.

Just because he can scramble doesnt make him a great Quarterback. In fact, it will start to take its toll on him. So let him run around with the Ball all he wants, make all those ESPN Highlight Reels, keep it up, he will be able to watch them all from the Comfort of Home while he is rehabbing!

OK - ya got me - the man ain't a QB he is JUST a "scrambler"..... You have just GOT to be kidding. He was the 1st selection of the 1st round as a "Quarterback" dude..... The Chargers needed more than just a QB and thank Heavens we wound up on a positive side of the deal by trading down and getting LT - but to "dis" a guy like Michael Vick is just plain ignorance. There is no other "excuse" for it. IMHO!

Okay we all know by now Vick is struggling, I look at the players on offense and its somewhat similar to our guys, obviously Dunn and Duckett are not LT, but they dont really use the WR's too much, Price is more of a deep threat guy than a possession WR, and the rest are a whos who, their main weapon is Crump, much like our main weapon is Gates, main thing, cant let Vick run, if he has to start passing to beat us, this game will be over early like the Jags game was, However I think they are improved on D, they dont have any big names(i dont consider Brooking great) they play together though, much like our D, I've been saying all year, they are overachieving, I think this game will be easier than the Jags game, I really believe its not our game to win, its our game to LOSE, agree or disagree????????

now that's not true and the only reason people think Atlanta is over rated is because of Michael Vick... that's all you hear about... they have a good defense and their receivers are awesome.. Crumpler and Finneran are doing awesome... and who's leading the nfl in sacks right now? Kerney...

Vick is a good QB and will do well in this league. The Chargers wil have to place a sleeper in the secondary waiting for Vick to start running and bammmmmmmmmm he is down.

The Falcons are pretty much playing the HB toss every passing play. The guy's playing the WRONG position if you ask me. Cheers!
