I am trying to confirm a player named Jim Gray. He says he played for the Rams, Cowboys and retied with the Chargers around 1968. I can't find any record of him anywhere! Is he for real?

I just looked in the 2004 media guide that was sent to me with my season tickets and I looked in the back of the book. At the all-time roster and there was no Jim Gray. The only similiar name was David Grayson.

Here's a site that lists all the NFL players since the 1940's. I don't see that name -

Maybe Jim spell's his name differently like F-R-A-U-D (pronounced "gray").
You know he could have played for the:
Colorado Rams
Wyoming Cowboys
Hillsdale College Chargers
