Wouldnt it be to our advantage to have the Broncos take a hit to their momentum?

Look. I'd rather have the Raiders win this weekend as long as the chargers win.

Not in any situation will I *ever* "root" for the Raiduhs or Donkeys... That is beyond the scope of my personal "reality". i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif

You can never actively root for the Raiders in any situation as a true Charger fan. In this situation you must hope both have major injuries and live with the outcome.

well i wouldn't either because if the chargers win, i just hope the broncos lose so that the chargers are tied for 1st

That shouldn't be a problem - AFTER they come to OUR house! i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif

It is the same as kissing mom or sis "frenchie style". Somethings are just way way wrong.
Root for the stretchers. Nothing life ending but severe sprains, concussions, eye gouging, biting, package pummeling are always nice and should be vigorously encouraged.....of course done in good taste, sportsmanship and with massive style points. Go Chargers !!! i/expressions/SDG_Bolt.gif

I'm hoping for the unlikely... a tie.
But I wouldn't be complaining if the Raiduhs beat the Donkeys. Nor would I be upset at a Donkey win.

can someone explain to me how someone gets a tie?

Since the Broncos have the best record in the division the Chargers would be best served with a Broncos loss. I don't look at it as a Raider win as much as a Broncos loss.
I'm not really worried about the Raiders. It's the Broncos D that really makes me nervous.

We really need the Raiders to pull it together for a game and beat the Broncs. Denver has Cincy next week.

If no one scores in the OT quarter in the regular season it is a tie. Rare but does happen on occasion.

What about rooting for an injury plagued tie?

The thought of rooting for either one of those teams made me vomit and become violently incontenent.
The only thing I will be rooting for when those two play this weekend is a nuclear meltdown occur directly below Al Davis' owners box and that the NFL finally comes to their senses and overrules the Holy Roller play.....excuse me, the bile is rising.

Sheesh! What a dilema. This matchup is like asking somebody "what would you rather have, a bad case of Montezumas' revenge, or puke your gutz out?", however, I think this is almost like having both! I'd like to see some of those cheap shot artist linemen from Denver get some payback though. On the other hand, I work with alot of Raider fans, and they gloat too much when they win, so it's really picking the worse of two evils for me.

The Raiders are such a fragile team emotionally, with weak leadership, that another blowout loss could send them into another major tailspin. I'd just as soon have that happen, make this division a 2 1/2 team race (KC could go either way).
PS. I love it when I player that I've always hated (Kerry Collins) goes the Raiders and sucks. There are few things better in life, IMO.
