He does have some skill, thats for sure... but they wont trade him in division if they are smart.

if they really want to get rid of him. they would trade inside their division. I would have traded Ryan leaf to the Raiders or Broncos i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif

Please no Jerry Porter. The thought of any Raider wearing the Blue and Gold makes me want to puke. i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gifi/expressions/SDG_Bolt.gif

I refuse to believe the Raiders will trade Porter...unless he has had attitude problems for which he wont be coming here.

Thanks for saying it first Trump...I just can't quite swallow getting a second hand Raider. That's like marrying a prostitute (my apologies to anyone who has actually done this...it is meant strictly as a metaphor) i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Porter is not happy being a Raider and will not return to Oakland next season. That is the first prerequisite for being a Charger: hating the raiders (so you can put a check next to that). If a good contract could be had, I would love to see Porter lining up with McCardell next year as our top 2 WRs.

MARKET WILL BE SOFT FOR PORTER

Word around the league is that receiver Jerry Porter will get a rude awakening when he becomes a free agent after the 2004 season.

As one personnel guy told us, "Porter was a dick coming out of college. A me-me guy. He's still the same. He'll be surprised that the market will not be what he thinks it is."

Porter suggested this week that he plans to leave the Raiders after becoming a free agent in March, due apparently in large part to the fact that the team reportedly tried to trade him before the trading deadline. The team denies any effort to move the fifth-year pro.
