Another Tennessee Charger fan

Just joined this forum. Been a fan since 78. Lived all over the US and endured many long seasons in Cinn,cleve,miami,san fran/oak and kansas city areas. Still stuck it through when I had the chance jump on other bandwagons. Looks like we are about to turn the corner again!

I am in TN also. and have recently become interested in the Chargers b/c of Dreyton Florence who spent some time at the university of TN Chattanooga. GO DREYTON!!

i was at the game in san diego. there were as many titans fans as there were bolt fans. best game i've attended since the fouts days, i was in tears when it was over. i'm thinkin they'll take the colts cuz they're in the playoffs and will play without the added pressure.

I'm a life long fan too that has lived all over the states. Now I am in Memphis and the only fan around that I know of, which sucks, but it has been funny to watch some people start to jump on the band wagon.

Nice to see I'm not the only Charger Fan here in Tennessee. I moved to Chattanooga two years ago from San Diego. I remember when Dan Fouts was a rookie. Just love watching the Charger games on T.V. They don't show much Charger games out here. It was great watching the BOLTS beat the COLTS. I miss Junior SEAU. Let me know if there are any Charger fans here in Chattanooga. Is the band wagon full yet?

This season was tough to swallow. I think all the talent is there other than the defensive backfield and the guy who runs the show.

Sad to say but Marty needs to go. If you look at his history you realize that this guy only gets only so far. Even given the best talent he couldn't get it done. What happened to Marty as coach of the Browns, then Kansas City he may have gotten close, but he always found a way to blow it no matter who played for him. The problem lies in the fact that there is no one really out there, on the market, who has a proven track record. This is a great team with a mediocre coach.

Yes, they had a tough schedule but lost too many times in games they should have won. One they should have won easily. How can you get beaten by the Dolphins, take the Colts out, then loose to Kansas City. With the talent and the way this team gels we should have already been in the playoffs and Rivers should have been starting just to keep Brees healthy for the playoff stretch, but there were big time breakdowns in close games and that is just unforgivable. Marty needs to go. A team that has this much talent and truly good human beings playing their hearts out every week needs the best coach money can buy. If we wait on Marty too long we will never know what these guys are capable of.

I grew up in San Berdoo, been stationed here for 11 years now. Not too many Bolt fans to watch the games with; there are plenty of Titan lovers here.:mad:

I did find one other very loyal fan at work to talk about all things Chargers, and we have fun bashing other teams, so I can't complain I guess.:Cheers:
