We need a vet D.B., the Bolts have to many young guys. Sam Madison will likely be let go and he would look awesome opposite Jammer. He can still play pretty well its just that the Fins want to start over and have a newer younger look. Dwight Smith from Tampa Bay would also be much better than a mediocre Jerry Wilson.

The Bolts can't afford to have another young D.B. struggle for two seasons!

Yeah i agree wikimama. Bring in a vet but don't waste a top ten pick. First off we already have Jammer, Florence, Fletcher and Kiel. Davis still has a chance to become good, so all we really need is a fs which there are many of in this draft and many that we could get with our second round pick. Bring in a vet to provide some leadership to our secondary and we would be set. Also sooners how can you say we don't need a wr. All of our wrs are small and fast and none of them are that good. Imagine a Braylon Edwards or Mike Williams in our offense. People are going to start shutting down gates, and then we do have Tomlinson but we still need a passing game. With a big overpowering wr we would be unstoppable for years to come. If we could get Plaxico Burress out of FA that would be fine for me, but I doubt he's going to want to leave the steelers. And if you want to draft another top ten db and you're just not thinking. Jammer and Davis were both top ten a few years ago and our secondary still isn't good, so obviously the draft isn't where we need to go to improve our secondary.

mike williams if still there would be perfect, imagine that he is a big WR and fast . but write after that i think we need DL we need to push the line back, good point we should pick up sam madison.

mike willilams isn't fast, but despite he would still be a good fit although I would personally rather have Braylon Edwards.

I agree with you on braylon as a physically more gifted player--however if you ever get a chance to see an interview with these guys you will realize that a guy like braylon will probably never play for Marty--I mean Marty will not want him as a player.

i could say the same thing for DB. We need a pass rushing defensive end. That will help out our secondary. We don't need another DB!!! I REPEAT, WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER DB!!!!

Dave Ball has just been injured-- We do have a good, young, passrushing DE.

Our secondary has alot of talent, but has been our Achilles heel all year long, and if you look at our pass D rankings, the numbers dont lie. I like all of the players on our secondary, even Jerry Wilson! The cornerback position is changing with the new rule enforcement that has been obvious this season. We should look to exploit that change by drafting the tallest and fastest since we have some good tackling in the secondary and physical strength means less and less, and size and vertical jump means more and more.

We need a good pass rushing DL.. but also, I think we need a hard hitting safety!! Jerry Wilson is too soft.

there is no way rolle, or edwards will drop to 12.

Rolle may drop that far. Carlos Rodgers has been playing great and Rolle hasn't. Depending on what happens at the combine it is a definite possibility. Also a good corner isn't the top need of most of the teams ahead of us, its a dominant playmaker on offense.

If you like Rolle you should see Carlos Rodgers , faster and he is a better cover corner.

It isnt a top need for us either.

I agree. Our DBs will be great if we can make their QBs throw quicker. We can't allow them to stand there for 15 seconds looking for an open man.
