I’ll get this started...
Do you think the PSP will challenge the iPod? I don’t think so. The PSP is mainly as a "game player" but it is more cross functional then I thought it would be. I don't see the PSP directly competing with the iPod, but devices like these will eventually cut into the market share.
Currently I'm addicted to Tiger Woods golf. Plus playing against my friend Rich via WiFi is really what takes this devise over the top.
Looking for cool stuff for the Sony PSP... any good hacks or sites to download video content? Suggestions?

PSP will not even come close to competing with the ipod. ipod is a very popular mp3 player. Although i have a mp4 player that costed me $500.00 and it is a lot better.

Here's a couple of things you can do with the PSP. Although, I have no clue how to use it because I don't have a PSP.

I am a huge fan of music (I dont like music that much, but I am a really huge guy who happens to like music ;) )
While I am smart enough to turn my computer on, I wasnt smart enough to download the album (free, legal, and endorsed by the band) that I was looking for. It appeared to be a zipped file, but I couldnt open it...what do I need?
Do I need a special program or gadget? Do you have any tips to help a complete idiot get that stuff from a file on a site to a file I can dl and hear?

You need a program that can extract those files.
Winrar is a popular program. and Winzip is also.

After you install,
go to your .zip or .rar file
right click the file
go to Extract Files...
After that press the OK button on the bottom and it will extract.

I just downloaded the program and went to the site to give it the ol' college try, and the site had to close down to avoid being sued on Apr 6th..... :(
Thanks for the help anyway Spy! I was just a week too late!

Chancw are, as soon as that comes out I will find myself driving behind a bunch of people that bought them and use them while driving around....that is really irritating!
My friend has one and he loves it....the graphics were pretty impressive on the games.
