Google is making MapQuest look like a old map I have in my glove compartment. Have you seen the new Satellite feature (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=San+Diego&ll=32.783117,-117.119322&spn=0.011888,0.018153&t=k&hl=en)?

The coolest thing I've seen (http://www.paulrademacher.com/housing/) done with Google Maps is gluing it to Craigslist.

Now that’s pretty cool stuff.

Satellite view of Chargers Park (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Chargers+Park&ll=32.819080,-117.118185&spn=0.006877,0.009441&t=k&hl=en)

If someone has the time post a satellite view of each stadium the team will travel to this season. That would be cool!

The images from the satellite are at least a year old. We paved our parking lot at work a year ago, and the photo I looked up still has the old lot in the picture. Still pretty cool tho to be able to look anywhere you want to from that view.

Go Chargers!

I searched "Petco Park San Diego Califronia" and it has a picture of it during construction. There is no grass, parking lot, nothing. Just the frame of the stadium. Check it out for yourself. I couldn't figure out how to get the link to my search, so try it.

Spysnipedis - you almost got it right.

The Oakland Raiders actually play here:

Hi Joel,

Google continues to come out with pretty cool stuff - here are a couple more I had missed. Have you looked that the combination of their free "Hello (http://www.hello.com)" program for peer-to-peer image sharing and "Picasa2" for image managment/slide shows/etc? (Picasa2 is tightly integrated with "Hello").

My son talked me into installing both on his Mom's computer last weekend and I have to admit I was *very* impressed!

What took ya so long? :D

As a test of its "Export to web page" I exported the pictures in a folder from my Son about the "Aftermath of Hurricane Charlie, Punta Gorda, FL" in Sept. of last year and uploaded it to my domain in about 5 minutes. ;) Cool stuff. Now I need to get a good digital camera along the lines of the one Riverhead was using and get my hind end down to training camp! ;)

Edited: I removed the link formerly to the slide show mentioned above and cleared the test off of my domain so I could use the space for another purpose - geekster

p.s. I *like* FREE! :D
