SD is the perfect place for a team. I know, we used to have the Clippers, but I think it is only appropriate if we have one. SD is one of the largest cities in the U.S.

I would take a basketball team over a NHL team.

Haha, I know most people would, but I'm a big hockey fan.

San Diego has had 2 NBA Teams, the Clippers and the Rockets, neither Team was supported well, that is why the left town.

Nobody I know personally likes professional basketball. Or any basketball for that matter.

I remember back in 1983, I listened to 15 minutes of a Clippers game voiced by Ted Leitner, but that's as far as I got into the Clippers.

Maybe if we would get a better owner than Donald Sterling.

It would be cool to have an NBA team here....of course that won't happen. But, if we somehow landed an NBA team...we'd prob. land an NHL team in the future since we'd have a state-of-the-art arena. I don't see us getting either, however :(

I like basketball better than hockey. But I could see a hockey team becoming competitive more quickly than a b-ball team.

I'm not a big fan of either sports but I can tell you this.. If San Diego got a team, it wouldn't take me long to become a fan.

Its kinda funny, I was born here in SD lived here til I was like 8 moved up north to a little town called Lompoc then moved to Oklahoma, Louisiana, back to Oklahoma, and now back home here in San Diego and in my whole life I never knew the Clippers used to be a San Diego team. I think that if I knew that the Clippers was my home town team I would have paid a little bit of attention to them and maybe would have became a fan.

Now there gone and looks like I'll never really know if I missed out of something that could of been a good thing.

GO CHARGERS/PADRES!!!!

basketball the only sport worth watching is football. in basketball all you have to watch is the last three minutes.

San Diego would never support a basketball team.

and why should they. The NBA is just a bunch of doper gansta's who run up and down the court and act like they are something special...........IMHO

Clippers come back, that would be nice if we could get them from LA, i mean because they already have 2 teams! San Diego would make a great place for basketball
