You know, I hate to say it, but if I've EVER seen a posting style that by its very nature screamed "punk," it's the one used by this thread's creator.
Just three more words:

wait until you disagree with a call Marty makes or you call jammer a bad db when he blows a play.
the whole board will hit you in the mouth:eek: Take it from me:Beer:
lol i've done that but i'm only saying the truth. i love the chargers but jammer does not live up to his number 5 spot in the draft. but i'd assume it would b difficult if the year b4 u...the number 5 spot player was ladainian tomlinson the best running back in the nfl lol

did courtny brown or gerrard warren live up to there draft spots..no
at least jammers good, besides with the newer holding rules ever corner was beat even champ bailey, but thats beside the point
its a forum, people arent always gonna be on your side and if you take things personal then it might not be too fun sometimes

The only problem I have with you is in regards to your ignorance. You come off as a c-o-c-k-y 16 year old who thinks he knows the ins and outs of college football and the NFL. You also sound like you are LT's illegitimate child. Your constant promotion of LT and his invincibility and greatness tends to get annoying. It seems incomprehensible, from your point of view, that any other RB will ever get to touch the ball with LT on the team. This is where you and I differ. I like Sproles and what he is capable of doing. I feel he'll be implemented in the offensive scheme more than you are willing to imagine or admit. I'm not saying he is taking LT's job or is going to start sharing carries with him. I'm simply saying he will see the field to add another dimension to the Chargers' offensive gameplan.

I feel you are entitled to whatever opinion you have, as long as you don't attack or name-call anybody on the board.
On a personal note, I find your posting style extremely hard to read and comprehend, and you may get a better reception if you take a few moments and clean up your grammar and spelling.

this thread is ridiculous. i can't even believe i'm replying to it.
btw - i think jammer isn't a #5 either. at least not yet. we'll see with a pass rush and a free safety. okay still no free safety yet but hopefully one day.

Lyi,
I've got no problems with your opinions. I have to admit that I don't agree with most of them, but that's what this forum is all about. Discussing the game of football.
One thing I have noticed is that when others disagree with you, you seem to take it as a challenge and you usually fire back with venom. Don't expect to ridicule other's opinions and not get some flaming back. Try to remember that your opinion might very well be right, but then again it might also be wrong. My suggestion is to try to keep an open-mind and discuss issues instead of trying to argue your point.
Another point made above is in regards to your writing style. It's probably a texting shorthand or something, but it IS extremely difficult to figure out what you're trying to say because of the lack of punctuation and abbreviations.
I'm certainly not the grammar police, but I think you'd find more acceptance if your posts were easier to decipher.
All of that being said, keep posting....as long as your a Charger fan, you'll find acceptance here.

ignorant 16 year old...? yea whatever you say cats fan. and i'm only stating the truth about tomlinson...after all you have never seen him play..so how would you know what i say is false. he is the best running back in the nfl. you do the same thing with darren sproles..."hes the greatest running back since barry sanders" and all that other stuff. then you tell me that i'm his illegitimate child...well what are you then...darren's agent...you like yap on about the guy praising him about his greatness...and i did see him play in college and i do watch a whole lot of college football. i watch games and i was impressed by darren's 232 yard performance over oklahoma...but i wasn't that impressed...its college...college and the nfl is like high school basketball and the nba. college is like 5 steps slower then the nfl...they are slower and not as well conditioned athletes. 232 yards college against the best defense..has nothing on 200 plus yards, rookie year against the superbowl dynasty..the new england patriots.

Two things.
First off, thanks for cleaning up you diction. It's obvious that you made an effort. It is appreciated.
Second, please read Kiwibolt's post. This is a perfect example. Instead of starting off confrontational, why don't you try something like..."Catsfan I understand what you are saying but I respectfully disagree." You'd be amazed at how much more open people will be to your views if you'd just give them that.
Take this advice for what it's worth. I respect your passion and your conviction.

I'm done playing the nice guy. You've officially pissed me off now. I'll go ahead and use rhetoric that might be more suitable to your liking.
Don't quote me on things I've never said. That's bull **** and I'm calling you on it. ..."hes the greatest running back since barry sanders" -- was not even close to anything I have ever said. Don't try to take my statements out of context either.
You constantly rave about how your information is so correct, bla, bla bla. Get your facts straight. LT didn't put up 200+ his rookie year on the Patriots. He did it his second year. He put up a total 237 yards to be exact. Thats a damn good game against a damn good team. However, I think you can easily say the same about Sproles' performance against the #1 team in the country, OU. He ran for 235 yards (10.7 p/c) and threw in another 110 yards on receving and returns. I believe that stat is correct, but I'm not 100% sure of it. I'm thinking he went for around 345 yards total for the game. I know its very close to that number.
Lastly, I'm going to throw up on myself if you give me that stupid line one more time of how the NFL is such a different game compared to college football. Yes it is faster, yes they hit harder, yes things are more complex. Is it still the same game? Yes. Do you still play with 11 players and put the ball end the opposing team's end zone? Yes. Nearly every great NLF player came from the college ranks, they all learned to adapt and so will Sproles.
If you got any more beef, please bring it now, or forever hold your peace.

Let's all take it down a notch. We are all very passionate in our support of the Bolts, but let's not forget that we are all on the same side.
Can everyone take a moment and collect themselves before I have to let Guff out of his cage?

lol you funny. 237 against the Patriots...the superbowl dynasty...team that wins off of their suffocating defense. Nfl's most best defense working together in unison..thats what they are best at..true team players. 230 yards against the best College defense...keyword is college man. there is a difference. look at guys that carve it up in college...ron dayne...hes a bust in the nfl. i like sproles...quit trying to make it seem like i don't. and college believe in pursuit...they chase you...all around the field look for ways to get the most helmets around the ball carrier. nfl believes in stay at home defense...so you don't make fools out of guys in the nfl. they are much more aware the college. how do you think there are alot of nfl busts...they are products of a college system...or they just are better college players then professionals

Funny? How the hell is 345 yards funny? I told you about mentioning that stupid 'college' argument. You are contradicting yourself over and over again. Your logic makes no sense. Should we just throw out any accomplishments in the collegiate game due to the fact that its just 'college?' Seriously, who the hell cares what LT did at TCU. After all, its just 'college.'
You don't have a flipping clue what you are talking about. You don't think college teams play zone defense, containment, filling gaps, ect? If you think its merely a bunch of kids flying to the ball you are wrong.

its college...being great in college is good. being great in the nfl is amazing. yes college stats are just college..they don't mean much...david terrell...amazing university of michigan widereceiver...what is he in the nfl? timmy chang...has the most passing yards in ncaa history...goes undrafted. college is college...nfl is nfl. get it straight...345 yards is great in college against the number one defense. 230 rushing yards..with a dissapointing offensive line against the number one defense in the nfl, and possibly one of the greatest teams every...is amazing. yes tomlinson has all those amazing college statistics...but look at his pro statistics. hes 2nd on the all time list with 4 200 yard games...and this is only his 5th year in the league. darren can have all those college statistics and everythin...but hes a bust if he doesn't do half that in the nfl. how do you think busts are made? they are great in college, but their game accels against college competition...not against the nfl. why are you still arguing...i'm over it but i'm just telling you straight up the truth.

You are a straight up ****ing dumbass. Period. I'm done arguing with you because you cannot provide a valid and logical argument to disregard any of my previous statements. Every time you open your trap more bull**** flys across the page. Its the same old ****. "Ain't the NFL, don't matter, bla bla bla." Should we compare college statistics? Would you like that? Sproles has better stats and has played against MUCH better competition. I can't stress the competition aspect enough. The WAC can't even begin to compare to the BIG XII. All in all, my fingers are burning way too many calories by continually having to retort your illogical bull****.
