(OT) return of the san diego chicken . . .

hey all i was kind of hoping to see this thread already posted , but i want to know if there is any truth about the chicken returning back to san diego ? i think the last time i had seen this ( nomad ) was at least five years back on tv cheering for some baseball ( MLB ) team . i cant remember who brought this up to me but it was something kind of worth finding out since he was once more famous than ryan leaf !!! what was the fall out in the first place when he left us a long time ago ?

I think the Chicken was probably the most famous San Diego entity of my lifetime.....even "bigger" than Shamu the Killer Whale!

That Chicken is Funny! I saw him at a Durham Bulls game, he always attracted the biggest crowds of the season!

I'm sad to say he was delicious too....I mean - I didn't know he was missing?
