Anybody notice how cheap the David Boston jerseys were on the Chargers online store? I just ordered one for $12.50!!!!(after shipping and all!!!!)
Not that I liked him...I hated him. He was an A-Hole. But m gonna convert mine into what Im going to call "A poor man's Ryan Krause Jersey".- just get masking tape, tape over the name, and write in KRAUSE. Simple, cheap, and I don't feel regret for buying it, since Im buying it for Good Ole Ryan Krause. Taht guy is so cool....
but 10 bucks is cheap enough to buy just to put another name over it. Plus, it helps remove Boston's name from our beautiful store and we can finally forget him!!!!!

Great idea for all of the reasons you named and more. I still sport my original Ryan Leaf jersey from time to time!

Do it right.

You could either take it to a shop (like a Flag store, or some other seamstress type business) or find a local group that makes clothes or other such sewing activities.

Have them remove the name plate, and then install a new name plate with sewn on letters. Even purchasing the material and letters (just use the same color blue cloth - you don't have to buy a special nameplate) it shouldn't cost more than $10-$20 bucks.

Along with the initial cost of the jersey, you now have a "personalized" one at a fraction of the cost.

I've got a jersey of another ex-Charger I keep meaning to convert. One of these days. Maybe I'll just have them sew "Shamrock" on it ....
