I'm looking into buying a Toyota Supra. One is a 1995 Supra, 2 door hatchback, 56,000 miles, 5 speed stick shift, L6 3.0 L engine. It comes with DVD PLAYER, PIONEER HEAD UNIT, LENSAR 1600 WATTS AMPLIFIERS, TWO 12" AUDIOBAHN SUBS AT 700 WATTS EACH, TWO 6X9, AND TWO 6 1/2 SPEAKERS. This one is $9,000.

I don't have a lot of info on the second one, but it is a 1994 Supra Twin Turbo that has only been driven on weekends and in good weather. This one has 97,000 miles on it, but it looks a lot better. This one is also $9,000. I am very interested in tuning my car, so which one is the better to tune?

Which one do you think is more worth the $9,000??

Car 2 looks cleaner. i am not to big into the body kits and wings. I think #2 is a much cleaner and better looking car

But ultimately, go with what one you like the best. After all you are paying for it :D

*edit, I just read that #2 was a TT for 9,000...stay away from it. A TT wilth 90,000 ish miles on it should be going for 20,000+ There is something wrong with it for that price

Buy a Chevy ... then you don't have to drop 10 grand on the motor, body, brakes and suspension so it will run. Of course, if you're trying to live out some Fast and Furious fantasy, then go with the import.

Just remember, when it comes to horsepower ... there is no substitute for cubic inches. Give me some good ole American made muscle any day of the week.

I haven't seen a rice burner yet that I would trade for a 1969 big block 396 SS Chevelle. But that's just me.

Go Chargers! :Bolt:

I would:

Find an Auto Trader magazine.
Spend $3000 on a decent car that would get me around.
Invest the other $6000 into something that would earn me cash flow.

Upgraded fuel system, Intercooler, turbo and tuning, you can hit in the 700-800 horsepower range on the stock bottom end

Make those same upgrades to a big block Chevy, which in the SS came with a forged crank and rods, and four bolt main bearings ... and you're in the 1000 to 1200 hp range. Drop the compression to about 8.5 to 1, toss a 6-71 BDS blower on top of it fed by twin 1000 cfm Holley double pumpers ... fog it with a 650 HP NOS nitrous system ... and viola! Run it through a Lenco 4 speed, to a Morrison 4 link rear end ... and out to some 33 inch Mickey Thompsons, and there is no way a rice burner is going to touch it in the quarter. Unless you're watching Fast and Furious on DVD. Plus I kind of like not being able to open the passenger door while sitting in the drivers seat. But you gotta love all those bus stop benches that are riding around on those import trunk lids, and those big Folgers coffee cans they call mufflers hanging out of the back.

American Muscle rules! Let's see where your Mitsubishi is in 40 years, like the old muscle cars. Think anyone will be collecting them?

Go Chargers! :Bolt:
