Wow...good question. I always like the Chargers/Dolphins playoff game back in 1980(I think that's the year). The image of K1 being helped to the locker room is a picture that'll last in my memory for a long time.

seriously, what the red sox did last year was honestly the most exciting thing i have ever followed. In my view, best sports story ever told, a team has NEVER came back 3-0 in playoff history. A team\city that has been cursed for 86 years, to get beat at your home 19-8 in game 3, showing no sign of hope to even win 1 game, then to win 4 in a row, then sweep the cardinals and win the the wolrd series. just amazing thing to watch.

Since I haven't been a sports fan all that long the Red Sox winning the series was one of the most impressive things I have ever seen. Our record last year was a very good story and so was the Faiders playoff loss to New England.

Hank Gathers shot his free throws one-handed with his left hand....so after he died his friend Bo Kimble shot the first free throw of each game that way as a tribute. This is one of my favorite pictures ever. The Gathers/Kimble story is not only a good "sports" story, it is a great "friends" story.
