A Colts Christmas Carol
Twas the day after the Bolts game and there in the Dome
Payton, Edge, and Dungy, still in the end zone
The AFC South banners were hung with care
But the question was why the Colts were still there
Payton licking his wounds on Dungy's lap
Edge crying and saying " I can't believe that crap!
Peyton, Marvin, Reggie, and Edge
Said, "We can't beat these Bolts," so they sat, moped and vegged.
When Merriman hit me I thought I saw Jesus!"
"Cato, you're a punk!" Turner had said when he scored,
"I think I've made doodoo." is what Payton said
"When 56 hit me, birdies sang in my head."
We thought we had come back, late in the third,
But Brees found McCardell, My God, THAT's absurd!!!"
Dungy threw Payton off of his leg, and said
"You've ruined our record, you stupid Jack-turd!
Our perfection is ruined, our hopes have been dashed
Call us history's Goats, because we got smashed!
These Chargers have spanked us, I must confess
I fear that we'll meet them again and score less!.
Our team has been schooled, doubt's ringing through Indy
Our linemen were trampled, Cato's still sucking windy.
The only bright spot is the stain in your pants!
We left 3 quarters early, just checked out of the game."
The Bolts fans all smiled, saying "See you again!"
"We'll spank you once more and increase your pain!"
And so as the Charger's boarded their plane in the night
Marty said to his team, "You showed you have fight."
You made those Colts look as weak as a foal.
Now let's go on for more wins
