I came accross this SNL skit and I thought I'd share. It's pretty funny. A couple of nerds rapping about their day watching Chronicles of Narnia. Trust me it's funny

Wow, that video is all over the internet isn't it? That is the funniest video I've seen in a while...I could not stop laughing. I laugh every time I watch it, I'm gonna go watch it again :) "Parked in our seats, movie trivia's the illest/What 'Friends' alum starred in films with Bruce Willis?/We answer so fast that it's scary/Crowd stands in awe as we scream MATTHEW PERRY/Now quiet in the theatre or it's about to get tragic/We're about to get taken to a dream world of MAGIC" Haha, that's probably my favorite part. Hilarious.

Pibb + Red Vines = CRAZY DELICIOUS

I think it's poking fun at rappers and how a lot of them have to act all "hardcore" about everything all the time...so here's these two dorks acting all hard about getting cupcakes and Google maps, the whole thing is totally ridiculous...

I love it! "You can call us Aaron Burr from the way we're dropping Hamiltons!"

I saw a poster on rottentomatoes.com (another Clockwork Orange fan, BTW) break it down/analyze it for another person who didn't get it...Credit for this goes to malchickiwick on rottentomatoes.com...

"The style of the rapping is "gansta rap" which is generally performed by muscular, rich, hip, black artists, and the subject of the songs is usually "thug life," which involves drugs, womanzing, being hip, and having a lot of money.

In this case, however, the rappers are two, white Jewy guys with unimpressive physical attributes and little money or fashion sense. Their song is about watching a geeky fantasy movie for kids, cutting corners on prices, and other unhip or mundane activities.

Thus, the form of the song is the opposite of the song's content, creating irony. Irony is one way of achieving humor."

Haha, good stuff...That break it down enough for you?

I guess.... I'm just glad I wasn't the only one that didn't understand it enough to think it was that funny.

Just wanted to add that I don't mean to ruin this thread for everyone... carry on.... :D

SNL's been sucking for a while, but if they do more creative stuff like that, they may just earn my viewership again. MadTv's slightly better too, but barely.

Yeah! Me neither. I just don't care for rap, so even making fun of it is wasted on me. I will say though. The Chronicles of Narnia was a good movie.
