Are you any of you guys out there ripping it up? Those waves are nasty... not me.. nope.

Uh... where was this? I would at least venture down to the beach (at a safe distance) to watch. Wow.

Too bad I cannot get into North Island by myself. I can't imagine what the waves look like at south-facing Breaker Beach!

Too bad I cannot get into North Island by myself. I can't imagine what the waves look like at south-facing Breaker Beach!I remember bodyboarding there. Gator Beach..(Navy Seals Training Area) Small storms would form perfectly hollowed out tubes. It must be massive there now.

I honestly thought this was a joke and that you had posted a picture from Hawaii or Maverics in Frisco at least.

That is AMAZING! I will die someday from melanomas I got from San Diego beaches.....I was only there a handful of times a year, but I can honestly say I have never seen anything like that on any California beach in my life.

I live in Encinitas and just a half mile from the beach and, there was possibly the worst traffic on the 101 ever, crazy people stopped on the middle of the highway just to see the waves, they would slow down to rediculous speeds, but I must say, they were pretty awesome.
