View Full Version : Sick to my stomach about Carson Palmer

Man, I have never suddenly wanted to see a team crushed so bad in my life. I just cant believe that Steeler reached out and grabbed Palmers leg, pulling him to the ground. They keep saying he was "blocked into him". Which is total rubbish. Did you see that? He did it on purpose.

I am just sick for the Bangles. I want the Steelers to go down hard. Watching their defenders standing over the Bangles receivers, talking trash, shoving etc. I suddenly really don’t like the Steelers very much.

I really want to see the Beagles pull this one out. I hope Palmer is OK.

Well on the replay it showed the guy pretty upset about it, so i dont think it was intentional

If you look really closely, he really could have not done it on purpose. He could have had no idea that Palmer was right there. Id like to see the Bengals win, but I dont think it was done on purpose. Lets just say if it was on purpose it wasnt as obvious as that Raider punching LT.

I feel sick for the bengals, but Kitna has stepped up and is doing a good job, so I'm more sorry for Carson Palmer - it's going to be a long offseason for him, but at least he has a long term deal signed.

It's a season ending injury. ACL which will probably require Surgery and they are hoping he is back by training camp. They announced it 5 minutes ago. Sucks, they were my AFC favorites to knock off Manning and the Colts.

It wasn't pretty, but I really don't think it was on purpose, and you know in this sport you do take your chances with injuries...hope he recovers in time for training camp..Go Steelers.....

I really want to see the Beagles pull this one out. I hope Palmer is OK. That was absolutely disgusting. I watched that play in very slow motion. His leg is majorly damaged! Very sickening indeed!

It wasn't on purpose, he didn't he even look at Palmer as he reached out, and he also seemed upset by it. But that's my opinion.

He was blocked right into Palmer, it wasn't his fault.

BTW it's a torn ACL and MCL

Cincy was good with Palmer but that doesn't mean that they would have beat the Steelers for sure if they had him. You never know what an injury like this will do to a player either. Hopefully he can come back and have another performance like he did this year (unless he plays the Chargers). Anyway, This wasn't going to be there year anyway. I think that the Pats might repeat. Can you imagine the irony if the Colts are beaten by Brady again?

You sound like those Steeler fans that said Luis Castillo purposely injured Roethlisberger.. same situation. It's football, things happen.

It did look look like he gave a twist when he had his leg. The twist may have just been a shot to try and make a tackle but it didn't look right in slow motion. It is pretty hard to blame a whole team for one person. Either way like you said nothing can be one about it "It's Football"

After Palmer was hurt though, he looked very sympathetic about it. I really don't think that his intentions were to injure Palmer. He just hit him kind of funny and **** happened.
