Of the people who have been cut, post who you guys think would be worth being signed by the chargers.
so far damion mcintosh T from Miami and who alrdy played w/ chargers ( i dont remember if he did good or not) but he has started for years.
maybe Miami SS Tebucky Jones is 6'2 218 and has good numbers for tackles
i have seen many similair threads tho but this is a llil difrent

ya those guys are good but i think backus would b good LT too, he is still relatively young
so by midnight tomorow, wen all those ppl become free agents, that means all teams are officially allowed to sign them or do they have to wait a little bit before they can sign

I think we should go after some players like Lawyer MIlloy and or Chris Hope in the safety postion and sam madison or ty law to strengthen our secondary.
I personally like lawyer milloy because of his toughnes and exp. and ty law for the same reasons.

I don't understand the BIG issue of LOT, when we already have a healthy Oben coming back in the line up in 06.
We SHOULD be worrying about the guard and center positions, guys!!

I was listening to Rock 105.3 on monday or tuesday and Oben was on and he just got out of his cast and will be on cruches for atleast another 4-8 weeks. He said he expects to be back but there has never been another player to come back from this injury. He explained it as a complete tear of the tendon on the bottom of the foot. They had to replace his tendon with on from a cadaver.

the line play was very average with oben out... at times subpar... i think upgrading LOT would be huge, we could always move oben over to ROT and use him as a backup LOT... or even if we pick up a runyan or fabini... i just want versatility in our line... and not leander jordan backing up oben...
i think OT is just as much of a concern as guard... if we pick up a ROT, we can move olivea to guard... which to me is a two for one upgrade already... and bentley can man the guard position or center... if you ask me...
i aim at up grading LOT (but with what's out there, doesn't look possible)... but if it were to happen, we could move oben to ROT, and olivea to guard...
or
i upgrade ROT and move olivea to guard
and
make it a priority to sign bentley who is versatile...
while, drafting for depth.

oh and that is also another issue... he's getting old... so it makes it harder to recover from injuries... ofc a healthy oben is probably fine and a stabilizer for that charger o line... but this is football, and health is no guarantee. we need more depth!

andre dyson just cut from seahawks, he is young and except for last year has done good, and has good number of interceptions

was about to say the same...great player, veteran, not terribly old, etc. I like this potential FA acquisition

I would want Bentley for his skills and abilities as well as his versatility.
Andre Dyson played well last season until he got hurt. He didn't play badly in the Super Bowl. All the big plays were actually given up by Bolware. Depending on how much money he asks for he seems like someone AJ would consider signing. A young player with alot of upside and potential. Some of you guys out there may want a more seasoned veteran, but AJ isn't willing to pay big bucks for anyone not named "LaDanian Tomlinson".
Also in regards to OT, i agree that we should sign a FA OT, left or right doesn't matter, then in the second or third round draft a future back-up for Oben.
For you guys who desperatly want a S, Hope plays well but moving Florence to FS saves AJ money. Davis is a capable nickle back and we still have 9 draft picks to get a 4th man

My Wishlist:
Drew! :9:
LeCharles Bentley
Andre Dyson
Lawyer Milloy
Kevin Schaeffer LT from Atlanta
Gary Stills very good special teamer/LB released by KC
Atwaan Randle El
Koren Robinson
Those are some of the guys I'd like to see as Bolts. I'm not saying get em all, but choose from the lot. There are plenty of other guys out there, but I have been more focused on the draft than Free Agency, so I don't know about who all's out there. Stills intrigues me. He's a seasoned vet, and he'd be another good role player and backup ILB. I think he'd help our Punt Coverage unit a lot, not to mention Kickoffs.

Milloy is definitely worth it, and what about Kevin Mawae, Larry Allen, and Steve hutch might all be FA's.

Hutch is tagged and the Hawks have enough cap to match our offers

john runyan is a big posibility of coming here because he owns riptide and we need a LT, but he has played for atleast 9 years and i was wondering if u guys think he would be a good fit, and how many more years he could play if we sign him?/

I think he'd be a good fit, but I'm LA, not AJ. ;)
I have no problem whatsoever with us signing some older, more experienced players. You just can't give them a gigantic contract. There are going to be so many cap casualties, that AJ is going to go crazy trying to decide upon who to go after.
For me, Bentley would be my first choice, followed by Hope or Demps, if they are available. OL and secondary, everything else is gravy. AJ was relatively quiet last year. That will not be the case this year.
