The combo together was good, but we shut Tatum DOWN, my main question is how this affects Ron Dayne Playing Time. If only Foley was asked to contain on that fourth down play in week 2... But I believe this is a huge mistake because we will eat Tatum Bell UP, we just destroy speed backs and he cant run on us. Mike Anderson will have a hard time finding a job w/ the tough FA market for RBs and Bell will struggle with the load on him. :Beer: heres to a bad decision for the broncos, YAY!:Beer:

Anderson wont have a hard time finding a job, he'll just have a hard time finding the money he will want. I think we will stuff Bell again, we've stuffed RB's that are a lot better. But you can never know for sure. Id like to see Merriman knock him like he did Priest Holmes, except for the season, if not career, ending injury.

that was a great hit, but I hate seeing nasty career ending injuries like spine stuff like that, however, knocking someone out is pretty nice, one of those hits everyone hears.

Tatum Bell will not be our featured back next year.....
he's a back up next year if we can't trade him....
we'll draft another back....perhaps lendale white or marooney.......
and/or we'll take a stab at ricky williams....
plus we may go after T.O....plus we have two 1st rounders
our offseason is an exciting one...

i hope you're not calling the brees injury a cheapshot , the video shows it was totally legit and both players were going for the ball, and their guy didn't even spear him for god's sake

How was Jeb Putzier as a blocker? He seemed like a pretty decent TE, but I never watched him block. I would assume that if he is from Denver, he learned how to block somewhere along the line.

yeah his blocking improved vastly over the last year or so....
he's a pretty complete tight end.....
but he wasn't performing to the level of his contract...

I would like to know where you are going to get all the money to sign TO and get Pothead Williams and sign two number one when you are now 15 million over the cap? I don't see it happening.

we've just currently gotten 1 mil under the cap and we still have about 4 or 5 players to restructure deals with....
ricky and TO are not going to be expensive (incentive laden)....i only see us (maybe) getting one....
if the cba deal expires then all bets are off and i'm not sure if we can do it.....

he was given every opportunity but wore down as the game went on....
he can't seem to be able to carry the ball more than 15 times without wearing down...
plus he lacks too much power...and he's not a good blocker or receiver...
bottom line is he just doesn't have it...
he's a good change of pace back though

I think Shanahan just likes to show its the system in Denver, not the backs. He makes backs look good.
Denver will pick up another back and be good.
