All clubs can reclaim their players back and wait out the situation...so it looks like a lot of these guys will be off the list if a new CBA is reached

thought it was 9:01 pst? thats what i heard on the radio. anyways, not fully understanding this whole ordeal. If there is no cap for next year, does that mean there wont ever be a cap again? And if there isnt a cap next year and a cap in 08, would that spell trouble???

the CBA doesnt expire until 2007, so there is a cap next year. However, it is only speculation, but some "experts" are saying that it will be hard to go from an uncapped year to a capped year so they believe it would be the end of the salary cap era, and therefore, the end of football as we know it, where we would be seeing NY vs. Boston for the rest of our lives...sound familiar??

Upshaw has said that if 07 goes uncapped, he thinks the players won't let the cap back.
