He will be on the John Thompson Show as is his weekly ritual. The same John Thompson that led all those great Georgetown Hoya teams to national prominance in the 80's and early 90's. He will be discussing his divorce with the 'Skins and his possible suitors. I would have to believe that he already has a contract in principle with another team. There is now way he would give back 4.4 million in cash unless he knew he was gonna get it from another team. It doesnt make sense for him or his agents to do that especially when he sued them over breech of contract for 6.5 million last summer. Its been noted on local radio here in Maryland (The Tony Kornheiser Show) that the Eagles were asking about him at the combine.

Since Shawne Merriman is good friends with LaVar, do you see any chance we sign him. I don't think we will, but for depth?

I say the chances of us signing LaVar are close to none. He's going to be looking for a starting spot and a lot of money, and we aren't going to offer either.

Yea you are dead on and even then he wants to parade around like a football God and goof off at practice and expect everyone to trust him to play well on Sunday. That didn't mix well with Williams and Gibbs will not take that either. Lavar was starting to be a T.O. on the skins and he will be easy to replace.

He didnt say anything negative. He was happy they gave him an opportunity out of college, yadda, yadda, yadda.

He said he wants to stay in the NFC East. He wants to prove to DC twice a year that he was worthing of being the #2 overall pick.

Sounds like he has a vendeta against the 'Skins now or at least something to prove to them.

Depth now but Godfrey will be gone next year if we don't cut him this year. Also Edwards will likely be gone in the next couple years, and isn't Foley's contract up soon too. In a year or two our strongest position could be one of our weakest. Although I wouldn't spend that much on LaVar anyway. If he gave up 4 million to be a free-agent, he sure as hell thinks he's going to have a big payday.

I guess his new home might be with Dallas....He already said he can't picture himself playing for Dallas so that only leaves the Giants and the Eagles.

The Eagles were my first thought other than SD (but I gave up that thought quick).
