SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Chargers got some good news Friday when defensive end Igor Olshansky was able to finish practice.

Olshansky, one of the top run-stuffers on the NFL's No. 2-ranked defense, has missed the past two games because of a knee injury.

The third-year pro reported no substantial swelling in the surgically repaired knee on Friday and was allowed to work. He went through all the drills and is expected to play Sunday when the Chargers host Cleveland.

"It looks like he'll go," coach Marty Schottenheimer said.

Great news!

Phillips looking doubtful though I suppose. Either way... it's good to have the big man back. :Bolt:

It'll be good to have him back. I hope they play him sparingly this week, I'd hate for him to have a lingering problem.

great news. Igor is probably looking to get a shot at the bullseye painted on K2's back as well from running his mouth.

I say let him rest another week. We don't need him against the Browns. In fact, is there really any need to use LT in this game? I don't think so.

I think they should rest Lt after he racks up 120 yds and 3 TD in first half. Give Burner a chance to run wild. Final score - Bolts 35 Brownies 10

I'm not too worried about the Brown's running game so I wouldn't mind if Igor gets another week of rest. Too bad Phillips won't be ready this week. The only players on the Browns that I'm scared of are Braylon Edwards and, as much as I hate to say it, Kellen Winslow Jr. They could potentially hurt us if we don't get pressure on Frye.
