Sorry I finally felt like I have to say something here.
Do you realize it took three things at the same time that no one on our team as ever done before for you to beat us in your house? Just some food for though.
* Kaeding missed a 40 FG. he was 13 for 13 from that time from 30-39 yds.
* Our holder never muffed a hold on a FG since his Pop Warner Days.
* Our Snapper on the Punt never snapped one in the grass since he played in our Super Bowl in '94.
So your counting all these things to happen again then to win.
Further you think Ravens will not have any problem on the road here. Consider that you are expecting also:
* That we will committ another 10 penalties like in Baltimore.
* That the Chargers are same team on the road as at home. Actually we played better on the road last year with Impressive wins against Indy and New England and not was well at home.
* We are a totally different team at home this year-
try 8-0. It shows in overall peformance.
I am trying to be objective also:
* McNair has a 88 QB rating on the road vs. 74 at home.
* Offensive poins scored on road against common opponents-
--Your offense only put 3 points on board in Denver. We scored- 35.
-- Cincinnatti- Ravens scored 7 - Chargers 49
-- Ravens averaged only 5 points a game which they lost on the road.
Most importantly anything can happen if we play you. It will probably likely come down to turnovers for one thing.

Both teams are playing better than they were at that point in the season, so these stats are moot. It's a whole new ballgame, as they say.

So true. The regular season performances got both teams here, but now everyone is 0-0 & has to prove themselves all over again.
So bring it on, Ravens! We'll see who's improved the most over the last 3 months. Personally, I just don't think you can hang, but we'll see. Here's to that opportunity

That last game means nothing for either team. Both teams are much better and I think this game is going to be decided on turnovers.
Also, both teams have to win the divisional round first.

I want to see a Ravens/Charger AFC title game. They are the best 2 performing teams. But first both have to get there. For the Chargers the Pats look the most likely. For Baltimore, Indy. But anything can happen.
It's no walk in the part for either team. Indy's offense poses a real threat to the Ravens. Put up enough points and the Ravens are in trouble. Brady and Bellichik are playoff mongrels. Besides the Ravens, the Pats are the most balanced team the Chargers would face.
We need that rematch against the Ravens to show that we are the best. We beat KC, now we have to beat the only other team to put a blemish on our fine season.

Both teams have been playing good football after that game. But it's the Chargers that finished the season on a 10 game winning streak. Before thinking of playing San Diego. Baltimore needs to focus on their opponent. Indy or NE.

In any case, if the Crows come to the Q, consider it the REAL Super Bowl. The next game in Miami will be the warmup game for the Pro Bowl.

You say week 4 doesn't matter now? It matters to us it was a win. We beat KC when we played'em.
And don't talk about home field advantage, remember what happened at heinz field, we made a mess in their house.
See ya at the Q

I dont know about you guys but Id rather play anyone but KC. I just think they match up well and they play hard. I want to see NE then BALT the next 2 weeks. I remember Tom Brady crying like his panties were pink last year after we crushed them and I want to do it again. Then Baltimore got real lucky as we all know. I admit that KC for some reason in the post season is someone I do not want to play if possible(for a 3rd time) but should we play them I think we got em. Just being honest...

Besides this time its at home and Marty will let the River open up. Plus, as I said its at the Q. Sidenote... Have you been to Baltimore? Its like going on a trip to 28th Street in SD without the Palm Trees. I dont see a lot of people flying out here for that one if they make it by the divisional round. Im not sold.

As I recall, we beat KC too.....oh yeah, beat the Bengals in their house as well. How'd your game with them go again? Without a doubt though, I think the Ravens are the best team we would have to face, if we both win of course next week :Helmet:

We beat'em by 6 the first game and lost by 6 the second. we lost 3 games by a total of 18 points.
Food for thought, don't play those stupid thursday night games.
I agree with your closing thoughts.
We are all on the edge of our seats, lose and go home.
Its crunch time!

If the Chargers meet the Ravens in the AFC Champ game, that will basically decide the SuperBowl Victor.

Agree. It's Bolts and crows for it all. Bolts trim the crows wings and they lflutter weakly back to Baltimore, which is a very disgusting city in comparison to the jewel of San Diego.

You can tell a crow from a raven by the shape of the tail. A raven's tail is rounded while the crow's is straight across. The Bolts are gonna turn the ravens into crows by trimming their tail straight across. Baltimore Crows. I like the sound of that.

The NFL won't let us lose because they want a good story: Drew Brees vs Phillip Rivers. Would make for good copy, and the NFL loves a good story.

I'm sure it does matter to you, the fans...do you think it matters to the chargers? or the ravens? we beat KC when we played them as well and cinci witch you lost to, whats your point?
if both teams take care of business next weekend and meet in SD we will see who will have the last word.
the past is the past, sure you beat us once before in your house....your a good team and proved it that day, now lets see what happens in our house..

Fact is the Raven loss was the last time we saw our team play "Marty Ball"...we had a 13-7 lead at half time and went into the "protection" mode for the whole second half. Stupid playcalling that is hopefully gone forever.
I want to see New England next week, and the Ravens the next...we are the better team and I want to see the Bolts prove it.
I'll be there, and so will 70 thousand of my best friends!
This is the first time since 1980 that I can say we have the best team in football...and it feels good!

as i expected the ravens lose because they have no offense, i am a little concerned about ugly manning1. he has played 2 crappy games and his team has still won, he is bound for a good game isnt he?
Ray lewis is apiece of garbage and his coach is very stupid for getting rid of his SB winning QB trent dilfer becasue they havent done spit since.

I agree with bolthead123. Gloat and keep on gloating. Those Ravens fans deserve every bit of fallout from talking all that trash and looking way too far ahead before the season was even over. But I can see it now, if they do decide to show up, they will make up all sorts of excuses why their claimed "stellar" offense could only muster 6 points. LMAO!

Ravens, Shmavens, what's the difference? They lost, they're out, and they're gone. Loved it. Now the Patricias are coming to the Q tomorrow and we need to stop them from lifting there chearleader skirts and annoying our chearleaders on the sidelines. After all, our chearleaders are the best in the NFL and Patricia's remind me of the Steelers unseen and unheard of chearleaders, non exhistant. Let's knock there heads off and send them home with there tails tucked between there legs, where the skirts used to be!!
