I'm not sure what you're talking about (never watch American Idol), but here are some funny pictures of Eli doing karaoke:

Sadly yes and there are/were many more just like her. :o

I heard just this last week about a study done at either Cornell or Yale on four different groups that showed people with below average intelligence and/or low or no sense of humor, believed that whatever they did in life was perfect - and could do no wrong. Be it the work at home, social skills, their viewpoints, etc.

Now, when this is applied to the phenomenon known as American Idol, see how it works? The obviously horrendous people get all bent out of shape and the people who do well, seem surprised and/or greatful when chosen.

Interesting eh?

Everybody is looking for their "Andy Warhol". They all think that worst case they could be the next William Hung. He's given no-talents hope that there is a silver lining in the whole audition ordeal.

This just in, horrendously bad singing contestants.... There is no silver lining.

Hurry up and get home. The ass print on your couch is getting cold.

It all doesn't matter.
It's all about TV air time and if you're bad enough maybe a million dollars in you pocket. So did you notice the mother daughter's hair, dress, and glasses were in sync for effect... totally valueless, not even worth the laugh

"No" is the answer to the question her song begs. "Whyyyy" is, um, well look at her.

Her mom is mean and sadistic; and they look like sisters, not mother-daughter.

That show is fridiculously funny. The auditions are truly the best parts. I really could give a rip about the actual show (I mean, I'm from Birmingham so our contestant will pretty much clean up every year). Watching the people destroy themselves on national tv is classic.

I love American Idol...I'm opposite, rammer - I like the actual contest and not the auditions. These guys are yes: crack ups....but I like it when the competition stiffens.

Same here, except for that Columbian hottie that did Shakira, that girl could really sing and she was nice to look at.
I don't understand why they make the ones with talent sing outside of their genre. I don't need a female singing Barry Manilow, it's just icky...

What i found amusing was that 16 year old rock singer that had a pretty good voice but when Simon asked him: "If it was ABBA week, would you be able to sing any of their songs?" or something like that. This kid who probably has never heard of ABBA in his entire life gets a 2nd chance, goes rushing out the audition room looking for someone who knew an ABBA song and starts practicing right there and then....he comes back, and expecting a change of sorts, sings "Dancing Queen" for crying out loud - and dude still has the same rock voice as his original audition number. It was utterly hillarious.

Well tonight Bham got to represent. I have to admit, I thought they would edit it to make Alabama look terrible, but it was really pretty fair. Some of those people were tragic, however. Including our mayor, who looked like a homeless man in his 205 jersey. Shudder!

Hasn't aired here yet, I was hoping you would make an appearance. :)

Sing it, don't bring it. Or is it the other way around?
