SAN DIEGO: The future of Qualcomm Stadium as part of a San Diego River regional park will be explored at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow at a breakfast dialogue sponsored by Citizens Coordinate for Century 3, a civic group long active in local planning issues. Rob Hutsel, executive director of the San Diego River Park Foundation, who will moderate the panel, said drawings will be unveiled of two park improvements moving forward as the Chargers continue looking for a new stadium site.
At this week's meeting, the panel will review four options for the city-owned, 166-acre property in Mission Valley, including retaining the stadium with a surrounding park or making the entire site a park.
The meeting will be at the Holiday Inn, 1355 N. Harbor Drive.
Reservations can be made by calling (619) 232-7196 or e-mailing c3sandiego @sbcglobal.net.
