SAN DIEGO – The Republican Party of San Diego County has scheduled Wednesday afternoon news conference to discuss a complaint they are filing that seeks to remove City Attorney Michael Aguirre from office.

The media briefing is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the San Diego City Hall Concourse. The Republican Party is calling for an investigation into what it calls “serious ethics and campaign violations” by Aguirre, which prompted the ethics complaint, according to a news release

and if this proves to be correct, aguirre is well, you know what

Aguirre violates law on contributions from staff

October 10, 2007

To prevent San Diego officials from leaning on their subordinates to contribute to their election campaigns, the city charter explicitly forbids officials from taking donations from anyone under their charge. Yet, in spite of this sweeping prohibition, City Attorney Mike Aguirre has taken campaign contributions from at least six of his top subordinates, state disclosure documents show.
What's more, five of the employees were given large pay hikes by Aguirre within days of donating to his re-election campaign.

Although the charter does not provide for criminal sanctions, it does nevertheless impose a steep penalty for violations of Article XIV, Section 218: “Any officer or employee found guilty by the (City) Council or a court of competent jurisdiction shall thereby forfeit his office or position.”

Without a doubt one od the donors is Bruce Henderson, since he may lose his job.

The clown is trulli pathetic, the city's is in rescue mode and the clown is tryng to be the City's Mayor during the La Jolla landslide and after he is refuted he gives an opening to other atorneys so they can sue the city.

For how many years in he going to indebt the city?
