James Lofton gone, lets bring in a great old Charger by the name of Charlie Joiner........Sounds good to me.

I dont know of Joiner can teach what he did... but if he could he would be incredible! If I remember right he was at KC and was part of bring Bowe into an NFL type reciever... might just work.

Thanks for all the great work Lofton!
That is surprising. I thought the recievers have realy started to come on.

thats what i thought, esp. a young core like the chargers have. The one vet they had this year was chambers ad i thought Lofton did a good job with those guys considering their experience

Perhaps Norv has had someone in mind is my best guess. If it is a receivers coach that has worked with Norv and understands his offense then i'm all for it.
Lofton will get a job elsewhere i'm sure.

Maybe Norv is bringing in Michael Irvin to teach...lol.
Seriously, I wouldn't put it passed Norv to bring in one of his old recievers coaches from the good old days.

They both seemed to be doing a good job and seemed surprised by the changes. I doubt Norv had the final say. It would be nice to get the reasons for the firings and find out what AJ is up to.
