Looks like Adrian and his brother won't start the season together.

Bummer for Edgar. Maybe we'll have a spot for him in the not-so-distant future. I didn't get to see much from him, but I think Callix Crabbe can play all the infield spots and comes with some more speed. Not to mention he's a Rule V guy, which means in order to keep him, he's gotta be on the big league roster the entire season.
The Pads have had some good luck with Rule V guys in the past. Quilvio Veras was a Rule Ver and so was Kevin Cameron last season.

DaVanon and Robert Fick got released yesterday...there are gonna be some tough decisions coming this week...cant wait for next monday vs. the Astros.

Headley was sent to Triple A, my guess is that this means that our OFs will be Giles, Edmonds, Hairston, Gerut, and McAnulty. I wouldn't be surprised though if anybody gets hurt to see Headley called up, and I kind of hope that he gets his shot, Im tired of waiting for our youngsters.

I don't think this decision was based on performance. I think because they're out of options on Mac and he's had a very good spring, they'd rather start with him up there and get Chase some more games under his belt in the OF.
If Mac, Hairston or Gerut stumble hard out of the blocks, I'd expect Chase to be up with the Pads pretty quick.
