I am surprised, with the NBA Finals going on, that no one has made mention of disgraced ref Donaghy. Especially the laker haters, and it's reference to game 6 of their 2002 playoff matchup.
i don't know if it is true, hell i barely remember the game itself....but he also mentions a different series that Mark Cuban remembers quite well.
Donaghy probably did nothing more than just raise the conspiracy theorist hopes that something will come about it......
we all know the refereeing in the NBA is completely subjective as much as olympic figure skating is.....but are they actually in the business of fixing games on this level? could it realy be true?

For whatever its worth it seems the home court has the ref advantage... on both ends.

It's funny, every sport now has a good scandal. Baseball- steroids; Football- Spygate Basketball- this....... About the only sport that hasn’t really had a good scandal lately is hockey. Maybe that’s what they need to actually show back up on the "big 4" sports radar.

you said it right there with the olympic skating, that was proven to be fixed, i hate the fact that at certain situations during a game calls are made/not made to "not let the refs decide the outcome." A foul is a foul at any time during the game. JMO I think David Stern is just as bad at handling controversial situations as Goodell

I totally agree. This effects more than winning and loosing games/championships. The gambling world is going to blow up over this. I wonder if this is proved true; if law-suits would actually be in favor of the customers and would get refunded if they lost money due to the outcomes of the games.

The only thing I can find solace from within these rumors is that at least it's not the teams or players pulling this ****.

i think it's not as widespread as the cheating ref says it is
if so the nba wouldn't have allowed a finals sweep last year, they lost alot of ad revenue one would think
this would seem alot more believable if every conference finals and nba finals were going the full 7, or at least 6 games

If this is true, NBA is just another reality show. A show manipulated by the producers to accomodate their ratings.
A heated Lakers VS Kings rivalry + a Game 7 = Rating$
