Yeh I know, but I thought I'd heard earlier in the year that he was about to play a little bit this year. I don't really mind anyway as long as he is ready for the regular season. Veterans like LT and Gates probably shouldn't need preseason games so much. They still need participation in training though to help recover after their injuries.

last time lt played in preseson was the 05 preseason game vs the rams, i think a couple of snaps wouldnt hurt what if he starts out rusty like last season

Lt does not need to play in the preseason. He has nothing to improve upon as a player. It is better to not risk injury and keep his legs fresh for the real season. He's been doing it for years so he is used to it now.

Norve is taking the Lt approach with a lot of the starters, by sitting players with phantom injuries.Why waste starter talent in exhibition games designed to evaluate young talent and make the owners a couple of dollars in the process.especially in the crap hole with concrete and plastic carpet,
