this is one step in the right direction....Khalil has already made it known he doesn't want to be here past next year...so trade him now before he just walks...too bad he is terrible and we wont get anything for him anyway

I used to love Greene, but last season he really sucked.. and he cant stay healthy... and his bat is really inconsistent...

Trade him!

Isn't Greene the one that threw a hissy fit and punched the wall in the locker room, which broke his hand and made him miss a lot of time? Did the Padres ever get their money back form him?

I sure hope the Padres are stupid enough to the trade Jake to the Dodgers :LightsOut:

I like Khalil, as a defensive shortstop he is one of the best in the league, but dude needs to get his head on straight. Changing batting stances only worked for Cal Ripken Jr.
I'll feel sorry for Khalil for wherever he gets sent to 'cause there's no place that's more laid back than SD and that's what Khalil is, very low key and laid back; he'll be under pressure to perform and i dont know if he can handle it, he's more likely to shut down and call it a career i think.

He had a good 07 season with a great 2nd half but this year was a disaster. dude needs to go to the Mesa and talk to Tony Gwynn about hitting, evaluate his stroke and get it corrected.

He's good but not great. What would we get in trade for him?
