I've already said that I would like AJ to target Khalif Barnes RT but I think Stacy Andrews could help us. Albeit he is coming off an injury and the Bengals did pretty bad but maybe a change of scenery will do. The Bengals franchised him cause he could play OG or OT. I also like former Cal RB JJ Arrington who I have watched out of college. He is young and has LTs size and can catch and return kicks and is a playmaker. I think given the right system aka anything outside of Arizona he can be a stud. I hope AJ gives him a chance. Then that would make Cal RB U with Arrington,Lynch and soon to be Best.

I like Arrington is Sproles leaves. He is explosive and is big enough to get 15 touches a game all year if needed. How come whenever we develope a good backup to LT they become a hot topic and free agent topic. I never hear about Fred Jackson leaving the bills or Kevin Faulk leaving the pats. Why cant we sign our RB's earlier.....

Because our GM is AJ a ruthless guy.

I like AJ, my only problem with him was not resigning Sproles last year. Why do our backups get more attention then the ones in New York or Carolina or Buffalo? As soon as one of our backup RB's has a breakout game all the talk in the media goes to what teams could use the player.

i really just doubt aj goes for a rt or maybe even rb if we keep LT and Sproles because we drafted hester who will have to be either power back or fullback... ibve said it before and i see him trading up with our comp picks like he has in the last couple years for a key player in his mind...

As long as its not an idiotic move (Hester) then I'm all for it. Anyways I don't think Sproles is coming back. Some team might shower him with money and he should go in that case.

if SA could come cheap and played up to the 07 standard (1 sack allowed--though I might give him that the whole team/OL sucked ass in 08..but 9.5 sacks is still too much), then I'd totally be for it. 6'7" 342...that's quite a specimen for coaches to work with.

Okay so Stacy Andrews joins his brother Shawn Andrews in Philly and JJ Arrington adds to the Broncos stable of RBs.

This may further explain why the Broncos drafted Knowshon Moreno.
The Broncos released J.J. Arrington on Wednesday after it was determined the running back will need season-ending microfracture surgery on his troublesome right knee.
Arrington, who was slated to become the Broncos' third-down back after he was signed away from the NFC champion Arizona Cardinals, had been trying to recover from offseason arthroscopic knee surgery performed by an Arizona surgeon. As Arrington struggled to regain strength in his knee, the Broncos used the No. 12 pick last month to select Moreno, a running back from the University of Georgia.
Arrington will go down as the tailback the Broncos once badly wanted but never had. On Feb. 27, the opening of free agency, the Broncos and Arrington reached an agreement in principle on a four-year, $10 million contract that included a $3 million guarantee in signing bonus and salary.
The deal was never signed, however, because the two sides disagreed over contract language regarding the torn meniscus in Arrington's right knee. A week later, the contract was rewritten and an agreement was reached, this time with a knee-injury waiver against the $3 million.

Nope I'm satisfied with Gartrell Johnson. I'm still wondering why Bennett still has a roster spot.

Because Bennett wont have to be cut until the 53.

Exactly.

And who knows what kind of injuries will occur in preseason?

No reason to cut anybody until after training camp ends and you get to the first round of cuts.
