Amidst all the angst we as Charger fans have been having to go through about "financial woes" and the fact that the Chargers and stadium are a burden to the city, we come to find out that the number of employees and officials making 100K+ is up by more than 160% since 2003.
All I can say is WOW! When does it end?

No offense but $100K per year is not all that much.

I was making more than 100k over 10 years ago working for local government, but that was with overtime. The bean counters actually figured out that it was cheaper to pay OT then to hire more people and have to provide benefits etc...

I did not read the link you provided, but I am willing to bet this is the case. I actually had my name on a list that the news put on television, and it pissed me off. They did not say that I (and the others on the list) was working 60-80 hours a week to make that much money.

After owning my own business, I wish I could go back to the days of just collecting a paycheck though...:)
