Anybody watching it? I've been watching it for the past two days. I thought the Man U/Inter game was interesting. Inter really came out strong in the 2nd half, not so much Man U. Right now Chelsea is beating Juventes 1-0 leading into the half.

At the risk of being the only one actually taking this thread seriously... Yeah I love UEFA. The chelsea game is a little dull though.

Drogba had the only goal this game so far. He came close a few other times today as well.....

Yeah, they are kinda blown out of proportion in just about every regard. They're also similar to the Lakers and Celtics....
Oh well, now the Real Madrid / Liverpool game is on! :LightsOut:

ESPN Classic. If you have Cox it'd be 324. It's a replay of the game earlier when Chelsea was playing.

The games yesterday were meh... Not that impressive
Werder Bremen looked fantastic in their 5-0 Drubbing of Sporting CP
Panathinaikos and Villareal was a pretty interesting game with both sides creating alot of opportunities. I wouldn't be surprised if Panathinaikos advanced in Athens
Liverpool got a huge advantage with that late header against Real and shouldn't lose in Anfield
Chelsea vs Juventus bored me... I dont see Chelsea losing the 2nd leg

I like the UEFA Champ League. Didn't know this thread existed. Too bad that some members tried to hijack this thread. Oh well. Lately I've been on a soccer binge. With the UEFA Champs, UEFA Cup, lots of EPL and Real Madrid matches when they are on TV, and whatever is on FSN. Have any of you seen the Setanta Network?? Sucks that Cox Cable doesn't carry it. Soccer 24/7.
Sucked to watch Real Madrid lose at home. I don't see then advancing at all.

I've never even heard of teh Setanta Network. We have FSC which is hardly decent. So far, I think the Copenhagen game was the most interesting/exciting.
Chelsea will make it pretty far. I dont see Man U making it too far. Inter looked okay in the second half but I dont think they can pull it together against some of the better teams. Bayern looked dominate against a halfway decent team, but they are still a powerhouse...
...we'll see what happens.

UEFA is fine. I prefer watching national teams playing as opposed to clubs, but club soccer is still good too.

Another reason the pats are like Man Utd--Man Utd won the carling cup final game after their keeper watched videos of the opposing team's players taking penalties on his Ipod before the shootout. while video tapes of other teams are allowed to be viewed during training etc, I'm, not sure that it is allowed during the game, but apparently by using his Ipod, he got through a loophole and they will get away with it for now.

Man Utd beat porto tonight by one goal(boooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!) which means that they will face arsenal, who beat villareal 3-0 tonight, which makes it 4-1 on aggregate(total). chelsea will face barcelona in the other semi final.
while I would absolutely love for arsenal to beat Man Utd, seems pretty unlikely, but barcelona and chelsea should be a good game, and I fancy the winner to win the whole competition.

Well, manchester united beat a young and promising Arsenal side 4-1 over two games, that probably lacked the experience needed to get through, and so will face either Barcelona or Chelsea in the final in Rome.
I predict that Barcelona will edge out chelsea, and go on to win the competition!
