Reason #2 why Denver fans hate him
“You start with the Chargers,” McDaniels said. “They won the division. They’ve excelled now for a number of years. They’re physical. That’s one of the big challenges for us is to try to match that physicality, that size, that toughness that they play with.”
He's honest.

No joke...there are no excuses for us to not dominate the AFCW next year...12-4 :)

Hard to predict games out of the division this early, or even in division games for that matter, but I don't see any reason why can't go 6-0 in division like last year...yeah I know we were technically 5-1, but that Denver game will always be a win in my eyes.
So even if we only go 5-5 against the rest of the field, I'll be content with an 11-5 season.

"The Chargers havent changed"
Thats a direct shot at our FO. Every other team in the division is beefing up to make a run. Are we?
I'm not hip on the FA frenzy, but damn...at some point you wonder if just playing it safe might bite us in the ass. Are we content with our good years or are we content with being a winner every year from here on out. I truly hope we have changed as an orginazation and winning is all we expect.
If other teams give us hell this year we can look back at all this inactivity for some of the blame. It's kinda scary.

Maybe not much change, but having Merriman back makes us better. Having a healthy 61, 73 and 21 makes us better. Chud is a change. RR is the d coordinator the whole seaosn.

I dont agree.
We've seen what a healthy 56, 61, 73 and 21 gets us and it was a loss in the playoffs to the Patriots. There was no injured player excuses that year...we lost. Home field advantage on top of that. Now the two consecutive seasons might have been shadowed by injury but it's not like we took the trophy when healthy either. We had holes then and we do now.
Inactivity is going to be bite us in the butt... I can just feel the "usual Chargers" (Mediocre) creeping back up on us.

We have a different staff then we did in 06. Marty and Co. decided to stop giving the ball to LT for some reason in the 2nd half which well lead to a bunch of problems.

Did the Chiefs beat us without Cassell and Vrabel? yes.
Did the Donks have the AFC west locked until their meltdown? - yes.
Will a coach from the patriots let that happen again? - No.
Teams are getting better around us....teams that beat us when worse.

Our division is getting tougher. All 3 of our foes have young QB's that have a ton of Talent. Jamarcus Russle is my favorite out of Cutler and Cassle. He's gonna be a threat once he's got some weapons around him. We need to stay ahead of the curve as they said, bringing in FA's is not a bad idea, having that experience on the field has shown from other teams to of paid off. I wouldn't mind taking a few guys from FA right now, like Mike Brown. Cheapest safety we can get with still some left in the tank. He should be able to groom Oliver or help Hart. Like someone said earlier, all these teams has beaten us at there weak stage, how will we do against them now that they are starting to put the pieces together? Need to shift gears FO if we want to continue to win our division.
