i suppose it's always been pretty apparent, but lately i'm noticing it more often. maybe it's because it's the offseason and everyone is a little testy, especially when talking football... but it seems like there's more than a handful of guys on this board who come here specifically to argue. i'm talking about the guy that's the first one to correct your grammar or punctuation or spelling; the guy that will insert a couple "OMG" or "LOL"'s to further express how preposterous your statement may be. the guy that will go out of his way to quote some 3rd party source just to show you how wrong you really are. now smack in between teams i can understand...but why do a bunch of charger fans (a minority of sorts in the sports world) sit here and argue with each other? you can't be friendly when you disagree, you have to TRY to be condescending every time? at the end of the day, we're all bolt fans...and personally, when i see someone on the street in their bolt gear, i know they're already somewhat of a friend.

so...i guess what i'm saying is if you insist on being so negative, at least think twice about who you are being negative to.

Asking people to grow up and treat one another in a civil manner...on a football forum, is a lot to ask. Sports fans are a cross section of the general population, and that includes children and adults of varying degrees of maturity and intelligence, education and culture.
For the most part, I think this forum has a lot of knowledgeable football fans who treat each other with basic respect. You just have to take the bad with the good.
