yeah.... ESPN and their poll of "the most dominant athletes" made me laugh. okay dude, you can run REEEALLLY fast...but isn't that kind of just indirect dominance? i mean it's head to head but it's based on time...this guy calling himself out to be a legend. what good is being the best at what you do if you have no integrity? this guy needs a big slice of humble pie.
i also think it's outright ridiculous that golf is considered a sport. let alone tiger woods being "a dominant athlete". HE'S NOT EVEN AN ATHLETE TO BEGIN WITH. HE PLAYS GOLF, A GAME. he casually strolls from hole to hole. hell, at least olympic speed-walkers go long distance.

You are not serious are you? What do you consider an athlete? Let me guess. A person who is physically gifted. Right? you have to be very mentally fit too. I don't know about you, but how many people can hit a ball with great precision? How many people can run as fast as Bolt? One of the first sports in the Olympics is track and field. Bolt broke records as it seems like he does not have to try hard. I don't know about you, but Lance Armstrong and fellow bikers has to be one of the best athletes in the world.

i never said bolt wasn't an athlete, of course he is a very gifted one. understanding the science of repetitive motion (such as bicycling) is all good and well. absolutely track and field events are athletic and are sports. as far as being DOMINANT in something that doesn't involve direct competition, rather increments of time measured by a third party....is pretty silly. when you consider the direct, head to head competition of say...FOOTBALL, it becomes a little more obvious. what i mean by this is there is no way one competitor can best another head to head. in fact, they are strictly forbidden from doing anything to counteract their competition. how in the world someone can dominate someone else without any interaction is beyond me.
and there's no way in heck you're gonna convince me golf is a sport. if golf is a sport so is playing bingo or yahtzee.
