The success of our defense is based on...
Pressure on the QB, playing physical, taking the ball away, stopping the run...

Stop yelling, I get migraine headaches, and yelling makes them worse.
To stay on topic, the success of our defense could be related to our offense not scoring in the first half. Just a thought. Obviously we have problems with player talent in certain locations.

Seems to me your post is inherently inconsistent. If the success of our D was in the past based on "roids" (meaning, I guess, pre-suspension Merriman?) and Jamal, that amounts to 2 players. Why do we "need to clean house"?
No doubt the loss of Jamal is huge, but that means other have to step up, not that everyone needs to be shipped out in some panicked house-cleaning.
I think people on this forum are losing their minds. The Bolts have pretty much owned this division, winning it 4 out of the last 5 years. Everyone else in the division has been "cleaning house" trying to catch up, including Denver, which fired Shanny, their SuperBowl winning coach, because he was pretty much being owned by AJ and Norv. Pretty embarrassing and frustrating for the folks in Denver.
The loss of Jamal was huge, no doubt, but we're 4 games into the season. The world has not ended and this team has a ton of talent, although according to many on this forum, most of our players are "garbage," and anyone in the league who had a sack and 3 tackles last week is a can't-miss superstar that the "idiot" AJ should have signed as a free agent if he didn't have such a huge ego.
Yes, the Bolts did play "soft" against Pittsburgh and as fans we're frustrated by that. They put close to 500 yds on the Bolts' D. By the same token, the Bolts put close to 500 yds on the Ravens D, and how many points did N.O. put up on Philly? Philly's and the Raven's seasons aren't over because they got "owned" in points and yds, and the Bolts' season isn't over by a long shot either.
We have the best qb in the division by far, and have the best or near the best at a number of other positions. Playoff football starts with winning your division (Steelers 6-0; Cards 6-0; Bolts 5-0-1[Hoculi] last year). Donkeys are better this year? Great. Let's play some football and see what happens.

Shawne Merriman, Stephen Cooper and Luis Castillo are all known steroid users.
Now you have Shawne Merriman faking injuries long enough to get resigned or traded. YouTube - Shawne Merriman "Injury" at POWERADE ION4 Shoot
The rest of the defense leeched off their success :Bolt:

Luis Castillo and Coop used it in and college and haven't used it since then.
How is that helping the current team?

While at Maine, Cooper admitted to possession of steroids after being found with about 1,000 pills in his duffel bag when the driver of an SUV he was riding in was stopped for speeding in 2002.
:nono:
If one of us got caught with 1,000 steroid pills, we'd be in jail for YEARS
Where's Terrence Kiel when you need him ?

You said that those players USED steroids.
Cooper never used them, he owned them.
If he had used them, it would be a different story, but he didn't.
