i have a couple reasons right here. besides the interesting fact that BoltzDean gave, were wearing the powder blues, playing at home on monday night, coming off a bye week, the donks are overrated, the chargers getting called out by AJ, the season is basically on the line. there is all the reason why we HOPEFULLY win

Because there's a guy with the nickname “donkey” at work who is a pain in my @ss....and bad things will happen to donkeys.

Today on his way home, the wheel on his 67 Chevelle popped off and he had to call a wrecker to get it home (he was ok).

Little history, he's a friend of mind but talks an ample amount of sh!t to me for selling my 67 Camaro to buy a new one. I kid you not, his nickname is donkey. He got it from the way he used to hold his hands up while talking to you (kinda like how you would to protect yourself from a punch). His brother is former boxing champ Jesse James Leija.

We'll today I noticed he brought his ride in and I gave him crap about how it's gonna break down...and low and behold.

I do not know what you were looking at but that was a terrible post. Out of all the refs in the league he is by far the most trust worthy. At the end of last season his call made no difference because it came down to that last game anyways. So.......guys get the hell over the call, which was the right call by the book last year, it was in the past its time to put it behind you and move on to THIS year

First of all, imo the post is creative and funny, wish I had thought of it.

Second, if you want to talk seriously about NFL officiating (which is not what the post is about, it's humorous, for goodness sakes), imo all NFL officiating is pretty much terrible. I've never like Hoculi, not because he's necessarily worse than other refs (again, in my view, they all pretty much suck), but because he's always been overly officious to the point that he interferes with the game.

Finally, his incomplete pass call was not "the right call by the book," rather, it was a horrible and absurd botched call. After the blown call it was the "right call" that he could not fix his boneheaded blown call, but that does not make his blown call "the right call." Far from it. I'd also point out that his crew's calls throughout the game were awful, even by NFL standards. Take a look at the "interception" that his crew gifted to Champ Bailey at the beginning of that game and explain that one for me. Better yet, instead of engaging in revisionist history, just accept the fact that "Hoculi" will always be a punchline to a joke by Charger fans, and whether or not Big Ed is a "trustworthy guy" (which of course says nothing about his competence), some of us think some of those punchlines are pretty funny.
