Where he is now is where Quentin Jammer was 2 or 3 years ago. He's a pass interference machine. The Chargers turned Jammer around, they could do the same with Carroll.

Default sad day for pass happy packer opponents

Just an assumption but carroll probablyhas an attitude problem. He's probably not being accountable for his poor play, thinking he's entitled as a 1st round pick, and not willing to learn. again, just an assumption.

Because he sucks, I am a Chargers fan and than a Packers fan, but Carroll has been doing bad since he was allowed into the Cheesehead nation.

Carroll has been bad for a long while. He was a reach and the reach busted. This was comming since he joined the packers his bust status hit monumental heights after being tore up by any receiver he faced, our own Vincent Jackson burned him for a td in preseason.

Packers | Struggles vs. long passes led to Carroll's demise
Wed, 4 Oct 2006 08:41:36 -0700
Mike Spofford, of Packers.com, Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy was blunt in explaining the reason why the club released former first-round draft choice CB Ahmad Carroll earlier this week. "He struggles with the ball downfield," McCarthy said. "It's been a problem for him, and people will continue to challenge him until he stops it." Carroll was exposed during Week 4, giving up long pass plays to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Do you guys think the Chargers should go after recently released Packer Cornerback Ahmad Carroll, He hasn't lived up to his potential but he was a first round pick a few years ago...With the right coaching, motivation and discipline he could amount to a quality player. I think are defensive backfield is solid with Jammer,Dflo and Cro, but we dont really have a fourth corner right now, he can help us out in our Dime Package and Special Teams, as well as giving some insurance if one of our first three corners go out. Would you guys want him on the Chargers??

Carroll has always been a player that has been beat. He gets a crap load of penalties. I think if got caught up with a team like the Chargers, they should put him as a nickelback kind of like what they did with Fletcher some time ago. I think he has the talent, he just needs to work with a great coaching staff.
