Jamal is getting up there in age. I love him, but his best days are behind him, and we will need to find a viable replacement for him to groom, so next year would be a good start. As far as shoring up our ILB corps, we could always sign one through free agency (which we SHOULD do, even though AJ is hardheaded when it comes to FA) Ever since we let Donnie & Godfrey go, all we have left are either a bunch of young unproven rookies or scrubs who aren't even worth the long-term deals they signed. We could really use another veteran presence @ ILB like a Godfrey, or even a Ray Lewis to provide leadership in that area. Just my 2 cents.

Ray Lewis would be awesome. The man is the ultimate leader him and Merriman would be great together but the Ravens might be locking him up for the rest of his career, but if we get lucky.....
