I mean we don't want guys getting DUI's and arrested with hookers and crack pipes before a big game. But going to a club to unwind a bit on a Friday night? I don't really care. We can only speculate anyways on whether they were just kicking it (a little R&R is actually good), or getting hammered (which would be bad.)
The partying thing is overblown unless you lose your first playoff game in horrific fashion, then every little thing will be scrutinized. My question is: why open yourself up to being criticized? Why not keep a low profile and do your boozing and strip clubbing after the season, or at least on Monday or Tuesday when no one can say it had any affect on the game. Staying out until 2:30 am on Saturday morning and drinking several bottles of Grey Goose cannot help your on field performance. Immature behavior that leaves the door open for second guessing. Heads will roll, and I believe it's going to be Cooper's.

Yes, but how does it explain the problems on the offensive side of the ball. Did cooper invite a lot of offensive players to the party too? If we have players who think this is smart then we have to educate them quickly or trade them to another team.

Is that what is actually known to have happened? (I don't know, I'm asking)

What I remember on this board was a couple of somewhat ambiguous and conflicting reports about Friday night before the playoff game.

I didn't say getting hammered before (any) game is okay, much less a playoff game. So yeah, if that's what happened then that is a problem.
