move Melvin Ingram to SS
Troy Polamalu play linebacker at USC--I keep reading this guy is a great player. I listened to Game***** on radio this year and he flys all over the place. He has the speed to play Safety and the power to slide into the box and cover the tight ends and blitz. Has anyone ever talked to him about this position. Oh-just think of a 260lb safety coming up and hitting the wide recievers. Nobody would run across the middle.

This thread reminded me of Adalius Thomas and how the ravens put him in at CB and SS on some plays.
I'm not saying Melvin should move to SS at all but they are very similar players. Similar size, skill sets, and they both can play multiple positions.
