still doesnt change the fact he has no experience at playing the position in the nfl. i understand the move makes sense with him getting older and losing speed, but i dont understand how people just assume it'll be an easy transition for the guy. look at weddle, it took him about 3 years to get to to where he's at.

Unforutnatly Wright did not do well last year. I for one hope that it is because of a lingering injury and the lock out, which may have hurt his ability to learn the Chargers D and transition into the NFL.

One reason he did not do well with the Chargers his first year is that:

"CB Shareece Wright has returned to practice after missing a chunk of camp with a muscle strain. Wright has some serious work to do to get back into the mix."

That and the shortened off-season did not help his chances.

Only played 1 full year at USC due to injuries and academic probation (different years)

(Note: Cason's 40 was 4.39 - 4.58, Average 4.45, Slower then Wright)

Here is looking for Wright to have a break out year.
