I agree Green looks like Gates replacement. Hopefully the two will see the field at the same time for the next few years, giving Rivers two big targets in the middle and end zone.

I did not care for our redzone production last year. The difference between a field goal and a TD could mean the difference between winning a losing a game.

Look at the Pats SBs 2 wins by 3 points, 1 win by 2 points.

Indeed. We were kicking way too many field goals when Gates was hampered. The 2nd Denver game really rings that true. This offense is seriously improved this year, IMO.

IF Green can get up to 250 lbs. (or more), THEN he can be considered a TE. Right now he's 235 lbs, and close to VJ's replacement. He's not a tight end at all in the NFL.

TDs are huge, but don't discount their kicker, Vinatieri, who was one of the best big-game kickers ever, if not the best. We have Nate, who clearly isn't. If we still have Nate, and have home playoff game(s) this year, pray for TDs. I can see Gates and Green being very successful in the redzone.
