He's a freakish athlete, but he really does need to bulk up, since he's only 241 at this point, and at 6'7" (and he's a legit 6'7"), thats WAY to skinny to be playing as a pass rusher at the next level unless you're Manny Lawson.

I don't think so mostly because of depth of this class. There could be be 7 1st round picks for only 3 schools JUST at DE (Jeffcoat/Okafor, Jenkins/Werner/Carradine, Mingo/Montgomery), then you have some other pass rushers that could be considered 1st rounders. This is really the draft we wanted this year. But I would really want to get a pass rusher in the early rounds next year.

Well, 1st round talent doesn't necessarily means he goes in the 1st for the reason you listed and others :P

Don't count him out, he's 21lbs heavier then Ted Hendricks, the Stork was a very good OLB in the faiders 3-4, he was 6'-7" too. It looks like this kid is more athletic then the Stork. He'll be okay, every open minded GM knows that the players will lose baby fat or add mass at the next level, because the trainer and nutritionist are more advanced at that level.

He'll probably go lower then predicted if he doesn't add some mass, because a lot of these GM's, coaches and scouts. Go by the measurables of the idea of a prototypical player at his position. Just like Ingram drop, because, his arm length didn't measure up. Yet there are guy in the league that play at the pro bowl level, that have arm length in the same range as Ingram. How many number ones had all the measurables that were total busts, no injuries, they just couldn't play in the NFL, the list is long. That's why the draft is a crapp shot.

They try to be to scientific about everything, they forget the none measurable, that thing that make a player great, it can't be measured.
