I have no problem with you having that opinion. If you notice, I have more been arguing with your premise that Florence doesn't deserve the "honor" of coming back because he left once. That's an opinion I'll take issue with.

The 'honor' thing is more of a 'setting the tone' or tenor of how the franchise deals with certain issues. I think AJ should do that, but I couldn't fathom if it is practical in the NFL.

For many years A.J. addresses the issue of the departing free agents using either "Love to have him back" or "Going a different direction". When Florence left I remember him saying "Love to have him back". I think the Chargers are still interested.

IMO Florence has been missed. He was better than Cason and Jammer last year...
