I would LOVE to have him as our HC. He knows how to utilize his players correctly and he knows how to adjust during games.

why would the Saints void Payton's contract?
Bounty Gate obviously looks bad, but honestly winning is more important than image and Payton is definitely a winning coach for Saints.

Right Sean Payton just bought a house in Dallas this off-season because he wants to coach in San Diego. If Garrett gets fired, look for Jerry to throw money at Sean Payton to stay in Dallas full time.

This means bad news for Saints fans, doesn't it? The GM of the Saints has to match or top what other GM's will offer him? Hehe, how does that work? (Player free agents and coach free agents?). There is no collective coaches union, heh. Is there?

The likely, safest move for both parties is back to NO, if possible. But I smell a darkhorse in oakland. Brees would follow just to be a pest.
Edit, oh ya, to answer the question... Id hate to root for that guy but id end up doing just that. that said, go norvember.

I think an incentive offer that is not just about money but about some input into an organization is what could pull Sean Peyton away from the Saints.
San Diego is no such place...talk is, maybe Oakland. That kinda HC power doesn't always work out. Joe Gibbs is back to racing cars. Last edited by Caslon; 11-04-2012 at 06:31 PM.. |

Jumpin' Jupiter !!!!!!
I think Spanos just fainted when you posted that. Too bad. By all accounts he is a top notch HC all the way around. |
